 First scan: We did a superficial X-ray scan, a sample of which is shown above. Note: The perfectly regular patterned structure, almost crystalline in nature. We do not see the amorphous structure of a simple engineered casting but see evidences of an extremely complex object the value of which can only be guessed at the present time. 
MRI scan: Wonderful structure and detail is revealed using the Olgarth Teaching Hospitals' MRI scanner. The interconnecting tubular structure (skeleton) that lies beneath the hard smooth surface is shown to be basically constructed of carbon tubes, giving the object tremendous strength and rigidity. |

| Material testing: We took a small scraping from the object and within 3 hours the site of the scraping had no evidence of damage at all. The object is indicative of highly advanced technology. The form is elegant and perfectly executed. No weld, casting, stamping or moulding artifacts can be seen on the surface. There is no wear or environmental damage evident to the eye – a deep scan will be carried out, scheduled for 18/05/08.
